Isn’t it strange that the comments of a 14^th century ruler still apply to Islam toady?

Throughout the modern world, radical Islamic militants use fear and intimidation to spread their ideology. Churches burnt, clergy murdered, airplanes flown into skyscrapers…

A quick online search of recent news posts will reveal many stories of forced conversion. When the choice is to embrace Islam or die, most people in poor countries will convert. They do not have the protections we enjoy here in the United States of America.

Maybe instead of calling for the Pope’s death, adherents of Islam should look at why their religion is perceived as a religion of violence and intolerance.

Once again, where are the moderates in Islam? Why don’t they use their voice to control the more radical elements of their religion?

Maybe the violence resulting from the Pope’s comments is the answer to that question. They don’t want to die…
